Last week, Commissioner Peraica proposed an ordinance to fully repeal – as soon as possible – the massive sales tax increase enacted last year.

In response to my ordinance, Todd Stroger proposed a tiny .25 reduction in the tax … and a group of commissioners proposed a tax hike repeal that would be phased in over four years.
