Commissioner Peraica has sent a letter to Cook County State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez asking for her to initiate quo warranto proceedings against Todd Stroger over his illegal and unilateral hiring of the hiring of Mayer Brown, LLP to defend the administration in an ongoing investigation to its handling of county finances.
